The American Telemedicine Association’s ATA 2012 Annual Meeting, the world’s largest telemedicine, telehealth and mHealth event, will take place in San Jose from April 29 through May 1. This is the 17th annual ATA Annual Meeting held by the American Telemedicine Association, and the Annual Meeting is widely considered a mandatory part of any telemedicine professional’s continuing medical education. This year’s ATA Annual Meeting is slated to be the largest ever in the history of these meetings. That is because it will feature more than 4000 attendees, 200 exhibitors, and 450 peer-reviewed presentations, according to the ATA.
Another huge draw for this year’s ATA Annual Meeting is the keynote address to be given by Apple co-founder, Steve Wozniak. Wozniak will lend his considerable expertise and business and leadership experience to the telemedicine world.
The ATA 2012 Educational Program will feature a wide array of presentations. The presentations are peer-reviewed, and spearheaded by preeminent experts in the telemedicine field. The topics range from telemedicine, telehealth, mHealth, and remote medical technologies. This is a great opportunity for medical professionals to expand their knowledge and keep abreast of the latest trends in telemedicine.
Prospective attendees can register at the ATA website to keep up-do-date on the latest developments in research and technology applicable to telemedicine.
